Can someone please tell me where is the battery located on 3.6 Q7 (US Version)?

The manual says it is under the driver seat but I can't see anything there.

EDIT: Well, after taking a 2nd look, it appears that the battery is there, BUT how do I get to it? Do I have to remove the entire seat? If so, does anyone have more info on it? Thanks

Access is from the outside. Terminals are under the hood. No service

If it is a jump start or the like use the terminals under the hood for that. The battery requires no maintenance.

if you *really* need to get to the actual battery, then yes, you need to remove the entire seat

seat. its under a charcoal filter that you have to unclamp inorder to get to the battery.

good to know. the factory repair manual tells you to remove the entire front seat
