Default Rear bumper removal help.

I want to install parking sensors on my 08 A6 and wanted to see if anyone has ElsaWin or any other info which can assist me in disassembling rear bumper. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Where are the fixings located? Seems like you reply with pictures (i see tags in html code) but I am not seeing the images on neither of your replies, here and on my parking sensors post. Thanks

15 FIXINGS HOLD THE REAR BUBPER ON.
WHEN YOU HAVE REMOVED ALL OF THE FIXINGS, GIVE THE SIDES OF THE BUMPER A SHARP PULL DOWNWARDS AND THE BUMPER WILL SEPARATE FROM THE BODY.

PULL THE BUMPER REARWARDS.
I PLACED A DUVETT ON THE FLOOR BELOW THE BUMPER.

When you have removed the rear bumper, you will see that the positions for the reversing sensors are marked.
I used Cobra sensors. (Off ebay)
Just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.

It is connected to the reversing light wire. (See arrow marked Reversing light wire) Put the gearshift into reverse then, with a circut tester find the live wire, If its the correct one the test light will go out when you take it out of reverse.

The four sensor wires are run into the trunk through the rubber grommet (shown here - see arrow - through grommet) THIS GOES DIRECTLY INTO THE TRUNK.
